OGR Funding opportunity/ Bryne State Crisis Intervention Program

On behalf of the Healey-Driscoll Administration, the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security’s Office of Grants and Research (OGR) is pleased to make available three grant funding opportunities as part of the Byrne State Crisis Intervention Program (Byrne SCIP). As authorized by the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act of 2022, Byrne SCIP provides formula funds to implement state crisis intervention proceedings and related programs or initiatives including, but not limited to, extreme risk protection order (ERPO) programs that work to keep guns out of the hands of those who pose a threat to themselves or others, court-based initiatives related to mental health, veterans services, and related gun violence reduction programs/initiatives.
