The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection has posted a grant application to support collection and processing of specified target materials through the Recycling and Reuse Business Development Grant (RBDG) Program.
MassDEP seeks to provide grants to recycling processors, manufacturers, and companies expanding collection of 2022 waste ban materials (mattresses, textiles, food waste). Information on grants is included below and can also be found on MassDEP’s website and the attached Grant Application Guidelines for collection and processing. Please note that MassDEP will only award one grant per applicant.
Applications are due by noon on Friday, March 29, 2024. Eligible applicants include companies and non-profits licensed to conduct business in Massachusetts that manage one of the eligible materials and operate a location where the proposed processing or collection activity will occur.
