MassDEP Funding Opportunity: Technical Assistance Grant Program

Below, please find information on MassDEP’s Technical Assistance Grant (TAG) Program which is now open for applications.

The TAG Program is designed to support communities and citizens’ groups in better understanding the assessment and cleanup work being conducted at contaminated disposal sites in their communities. TAGs will be awarded to selected eligible groups for the purpose of obtaining outside expert advice and technical assistance to review and interpret the planned implementation of site assessment and cleanup response actions, and to enhance public involvement in disposal site assessment and cleanup activities.

 

Applications are due by Friday, September 6, 2024. Written questions on the program should be submitted before July 19th. More information on the grants, including eligible applicants and qualifying uses for funds, can be found on visit MassDEP’s website, found here.

FY25-26 Opportunity and Application

 

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) is pleased to announce that the application for the FY2025-26 Technical Assistance Grant (TAG) is now available. This grant opportunity provides $200,000 in funding, with up to $20,000 per community or municipal applicant group selected for an award, to enhance public involvement and promote a better understanding of the cleanup of contaminated sites in their communities. 

The application deadline is Friday, September 6, 2024.
