Health Connector's December 23rd payment deadline to secure health insurance coverage effective January 1^st is Saturday and is quickly approaching.  It is important to select a plan and make a payment by December 23 for health insurance coverage effective January 1^st. 

Open Enrollment is especially important this year as the Health Connector looks to serve as a resource for individuals and families transitioning out of MassHealth coverage as part of the redetermination process. The Health Connector is also excited to be able to extend financial subsidies to more residents thanks to the MA legislature’s passage of the ConnectorCare expansion pilot as part of the FY24 budget.   

Though Open Enrollment runs through January 23, 2024, anyone who needs coverage effective the first of the year will need to take action by December 23^rd, plan selection or payment after December 23^rd means the first opportunity for coverage to begin is in February.

1. The Health Connector is hosting its second webinar for December after more than 500 individuals registered to attend last week’s webinar. Tomorrow’s webinar will provide residents an opportunity to learn about their coverage options through the Health Connector and a walk-through on how to shop for plans and complete enrollment.
